At Fuego Tapas Bar, Chef Stephanie and husband Shawn Brewster love all things Spanish, especially tapas cuisine. Spending time with friends and sharing delicious food served on small plates with perfectly paired drinks is the essence of the Spanish tapas experience at Fuego. Chef Stephanie’s extraordinary menu of traditional and contemporary tapas with Spanish wines, Sangrias and drinks take you and your friends to the heart of Spanish style dining in downtown Oakville. Fuego’s talented and experienced team welcomes small gatherings and larger groups into a relaxed and social atmosphere. Tapas is great anytime and Fuego is open for lunch, late afternoon, dinner or late night and Sunday brunch. Chef Stephanie and Shawn’s delightful tapas menu, Sangrias and Spanish wines offer the pleasure of tapas that is best served with friends and family at Fuego.

About Chef Stephanie

Stephanie Brewster is a chef, instructor, Canadian culinary celebrity, and restauranteur.

Born in Ontario, Stephanie Brewster studied Culinary Management at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Stephanie’s career in the culinary industry spans over 25 years. In 2003, she joined Fanshawe’s Culinary Management Program as an instructor where she trained hundreds of students for the hospitality industry. In 2014, she was the Chef Specialist for Farm Boy Inc. in London, Ontario. Stephanie won first prize in the premiere 2014 season of the Food Network’s ‘Chopped Canada’. Relocating to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in 2015, led Stephanie to the Culinary Director role at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton Ontario. Last year, Stephanie and husband Shawn Brewster travelled through Spain where they discovered and fell in love with tapas cuisine. In 2016, they opened Fuego Tapas Bar in Oakville, Ontario.

We went for brunch and I had their take on Eggs Benedict which had a perfectly poached egg on a churro and topped with prosciutto wrapped asparagus, a very nice hollandaise sauce and garnished with patatas bravas and saffron aioli.-outstanding flavours. Service was friendly and efficient."

Table side. The service was outstanding and the room was cozy. I love the style and decor. The food was the topper! We ordered and ordered to try everything, but we could just not do it."
